Joel Jordan is an early employee of the firm, having joined Collective in March 2015. He has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He serves as Collective’s Quality Control Director while also working as a technical lead on various projects and mentoring junior staff.

Joel started his Florida water resources career in 1993 and has experience in all aspects of stormwater management including developing stormwater models (multiple model platforms), conducting master planning, planning stormwater utilities, developing capital improvement plans, preparing stormwater facility designs (conceptual to final), preparing cost estimates, performing peer reviews and alternatives analyses, using geographic information systems (GIS) to develop models and display model results, and planning for hazard mitigation and climate change adaptation.

Joel enjoys participating in technical societies throughout Florida, particularly the Florida Stormwater Association.

In his free time, Joel hangs out at the beach and slowly but surely works on renovating his house.
