Sierra joined Collective Water Resources in 2022. She attended Montana State University, where she earned her degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Bio-Resources, emphasizing water resources, sustainable design, and the relationships between engineering and the natural environment.

Sierra began her engineering career with concrete testing before discovering her interest in drainage design while working on a variety of land development projects and floodplain studies. Since joining the Collective team, she has enjoyed the problem-solving side of modeling, as well as discovering new ways to incorporate GIS into hydrologic and hydraulic modeling systems. Sierra is an integral part of our StormWise team and is one of the firm’s GIS power users, particularly in the realm of geodatabases.

Outside of work, Sierra can usually be found exploring the mountains with her husband and golden retriever, Ranger. She loves hiking, fishing, and rockhounding for sapphires.
