Elizabeth Perez
Elizabeth Perez (Liz) is President and Founder of Collective Water Resources, LLC. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida’s Environmental Engineering Department and her Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Liz has established a strong reputation as a water resources expert throughout Florida, not only for her technical work but also for her dedication to various technical publications and community groups. She believes that technology, meaningful public service, and environmental preservation can co-exist and she has dedicated her life to this vision. She most enjoys bringing her passion for the environment, collaboration, and data to clients.
Most notably, she has served as a member of the National Energy, Environment, and Water Policy Committee within the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a co‐author on the 8th Edition of the textbook Water Supply and Pollution Control. Liz served on the Executive Committee of the Florida Stormwater Association for several years and is a proud past President of the organization. Her broad professional experience includes watershed management, resilience planning, surface water modeling, GIS, regulatory advocacy, and the creation of stormwater programmatic guidance for various public agencies.
On a personal note, Liz is a “dance mom” and is known for her love of zombie, science fiction, and horror movie trivia. Liz is also passionate about cats, drumming, travel, vegetarian cooking, and the arts.
